Concentric Double Shaft Mixing Reactor
A concentric double shaft mixing reactor is designed for processes that require both strong dispersion and stable bulk mixing, especially when handling medium to high viscosity materials. The PMR model combines high-speed shear with controlled circulation, helping improve mixing efficiency and overall process stability. The system integrates a high-speed disperser at the center and a low-speed wall-scraping agitator around it, both operating on the same axis with independent drives. While the high-speed unit breaks down particles and promotes dispersion, the low-speed agitator ensures continuous material movement and prevents buildup on the vessel wall. This coordinated operation supports efficient dissolution, emulsification, and reaction processes in industries such as fine chemicals, polymers, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and coatings.

New Materials
- Concentric dual-shaft design
High-speed dispersion and low-speed mixing are combined in a compact structure, allowing both fine particle processing and complete bulk circulation within a single system. - Effective wall scraping and heat transfer
The low-speed agitator continuously removes material from the vessel wall, preventing buildup and improving heat transfer efficiency during heating or cooling. - Designed for medium to high viscosity materials
Well suited for thixotropic, high solid-content, or wall-adhering materials that are difficult to handle with conventional single-shaft mixers. - Independent speed control
High-speed and low-speed shafts can be adjusted separately, allowing precise control across different process stages such as dispersion, emulsification, and homogenization. - Flexible mixing configurations
Low-speed agitators can be configured as anchor, frame, or butterfly types, while high-speed units can use dispersing discs or emulsifying heads, depending on process requirements. - Hygienic and easy to clean
The inner vessel surface is mirror-polished to reduce residue and eliminate dead zones. Optional CIP cleaning systems can be integrated to meet hygiene and process standards.

Reliable dispersing performance with durable components
The serrated dispersing disc is manufactured from wear-resistant stainless steel and designed to provide consistent shear force during operation. The structure is stable, easy to maintain, and allows quick replacement when required, helping reduce downtime.

Customized temperature control options
The reactor can be configured with different heating and cooling methods based on process requirements, including internal coils, external jackets, or electric heating. This allows stable temperature control across different materials and production conditions.

Accurate automation control
Equipped with a PLC control system to achieve precise setting and real-time monitoring of parameters such as dispersed speed, temperature, vacuum degree, and time.
